History:

Hondo was created as a joint venture between three businessmen and a hard-rock geologist after a successful gold prospecting expedition to Northern Nevada in the fall of 2009.  Shane and Nelson, along with two colleagues (fellow oil and gas investor and former partner, Scott Barthel, and long-time associate, the late Ray Wittkopp) trekked through hills and ravines staking claims during their initial trip.
